How IEC 62660 testing works
- Tell us the purpose. Export, a tender, a customer requirement or a design check. The purpose decides which clauses and which laboratory.

- Send samples. We help with labels, the test request and any technical documents the tests need.

Which IEC 62660 tests are NABL accredited?
All 19 tests listed on this page are within NABL accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025), each against the clause of IEC 62660 shown next to it. The report carries the NABL accreditation mark for these tests.
Is the IEC 62660 test report accepted outside India?
NABL is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement, so its accredited reports are recognised by accreditation bodies in other member countries. Your buyer or regulator still decides what it accepts, so we confirm their requirement before testing.
How many samples are needed for IEC 62660 testing?
It depends on the product, its variants and the tests you need. Share the product details and the purpose of the test (BIS, tender or customer) and we will send the sample list and a quote.
Can you test only some clauses of IEC 62660?
Yes. For a tender, a customer complaint or a design check, we can test selected clauses. For BIS certification or a type test, every applicable clause has to be covered.
