LED Lamp & Luminaire Testing

LED lamps, drivers and luminaires are under compulsory BIS registration, and each needs a safety test report against its Indian Standard. Accredited tests cover marking, interchangeability, protection against electric shock, insulation resistance and electric strength, mechanical strength, heat resistance, fire and tracking, fault conditions, creepage and clearances, and endurance.

Luminaire testing covers fixed general-purpose luminaires, hand lamps, rope lights and lighting chains.
