Yes. Testing to IS 2141 is available at a BIS-recognised laboratory, so the report can be submitted with a BIS application. BIS may still draw its own samples during the factory inspection.

How many samples are needed for IS 2141 testing?

It depends on the product, its variants and the tests you need. Share the product details and the purpose of the test (BIS, tender or customer) and we will send the sample list and a quote.

Can you test only some clauses of IS 2141?

Yes. For a tender, a customer complaint or a design check, we can test selected clauses. For BIS certification or a type test, every applicable clause has to be covered.
