Petroleum & Lubricant Testing

NABL-accredited testing of petroleum products, engine and gear oils, and greases to IS 1448 and ASTM methods.

Independent private consultancy. Aaditech is not BIS or any government department and is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Licences are granted only by the authority, and you can apply directly on its portal. Our consultancy fees are separate from official fees.

Petroleum products, white oils, solvents, insulating oils and fuels such as HSD and LDO are tested for density and API gravity, kinematic viscosity, flash and fire point, pour and cloud point, aniline point, cetane and diesel index, carbon residue, ash, acidity, copper strip corrosion and total sulphur.

Engine and gear oils are tested for viscosity index, total acid and base number, sulphated ash and insolubles. Greases are tested for drop point, worked and unworked consistency, oil content, evaporation loss and free alkalinity or acidity.

How it works

  1. Share the product and the purpose: BIS certification, a tender, a customer or export.
  2. Get the test plan. We list the standard, clauses, number of samples, cost and timeline.
  3. Send samples with the test request and technical documents.
  4. Receive the NABL accredited report, reviewed by us before you submit it.
