- Review and use. We check the report before you submit it to BIS, a tender authority or your customer, and help if they raise a query.

Which IS 17293 tests are NABL accredited?
All 31 tests listed on this page are within NABL accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025), each against the clause of IS 17293 shown next to it. The report carries the NABL accreditation mark for these tests.
Can the IS 17293 test report be used for BIS certification?
Yes. Testing to IS 17293 is available at a BIS-recognised laboratory, so the report can be submitted with a BIS application. BIS may still draw its own samples during the factory inspection.
How many samples are needed for IS 17293 testing?
It depends on the product, its variants and the tests you need. Share the product details and the purpose of the test (BIS, tender or customer) and we will send the sample list and a quote.
Can you test only some clauses of IS 17293?
Yes. For a tender, a customer complaint or a design check, we can test selected clauses. For BIS certification or a type test, every applicable clause has to be covered.
