Frequently asked questions
Which IEC 60245 tests are NABL accredited?
All 93 tests listed on this page are within NABL accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025), each against the clause of IEC 60245 shown next to it. The report carries the NABL accreditation mark for these tests.
Is the IEC 60245 test report accepted outside India?
NABL is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement, so its accredited reports are recognised by accreditation bodies in other member countries. Your buyer or regulator still decides what it accepts, so we confirm their requirement before testing.
How many samples are needed for IEC 60245 testing?
It depends on the product, its variants and the tests you need. Share the product details and the purpose of the test (BIS, tender or customer) and we will send the sample list and a quote.
Can you test only some clauses of IEC 60245?
Yes. For a tender, a customer complaint or a design check, we can test selected clauses. For BIS certification or a type test, every applicable clause has to be covered.
